Talking to the surgeon

Yesterday I went and had the MRI done. Everything went fine. I had to lie face down on my stomach. There was a pad on the table pushing into my stomach which gave me heartburn. That was the most uncomfortable part of the test. The results were supposed to be done and to Dr. Jordan today, they weren't.

My appointment with Dr. Jordan went well. Unfortunately since the MRI results weren't back yet we don't know anything more specific about me. He spent over an hour with him talking in somewhat general terms about different possibilities. He was going to talk to the Radiologist then call me back.

When Dr Jordan's office called back it sounded like the Radiologist hadn't actually seen the MRI yet because she was in SLC all day. Together the two doctors decided they needed to do another ultrasound and possible biopsy on Wednesday morning. If I understood correctly they will look at the left and right breasts more, check my lymph nodes under the left arm and then biopsy anything that they have more questions about.

Dr Jordan's office also made me an appointment for Monday with Dr. Gray, an oncologist. I will follow up with Dr. Jordan on Friday. For now it is just more waiting. By next Friday we should have a definite plan.
